Overall I believe the design depicts an appropriate sense of ‘britishness’ to the redesign with modern design concepts applied, to bring a sense of clarity and harmony to the design, which it was lacking in previous designs. The semantics behind the design such as the deep rooted meaning behind the choice of colour scheme and typeface further enhances the appropriation for this design. Thus demonstrating an overall combination of a strong overall idea, good execution, practicality and a convincing justification for their design.
