Analysing succesfful iconic movie posters is a good step to take in producing my own poster. Understanding the underlining techniques of which enhanced these posters to what made them the most popular of all time. The main underlining concept which can be relatable throughout all the designs is the appropriation of colour. Although used in a diverse set of ways, the underlining intent is similar. Using these complimentary colours with one that then makes the mould by using the type or main content stick out from the rest is a winning way to engage audience. All may have different colour schemes but it is how you use these colours to further enhance every factor of design in the poster to elevate not just the imagery but the content.
