PRIMARY RESEARCH

PRIMARY RESEARCH

Primary research was undertaken with 15-20 graphic design students, to understand other creatives viewpoints on ethical graphic design and why their is a lack of interest in the topic. This research was crucial to the development of my visual investigation and general content. The design is really purposed for this specific audience. The target audience is for graphic designers, so understanding their views is imperative to the success of the product. The general themes from the primary research, conveyed that the zine needed to be produced in a method that creates interest in the topic as well being visually engaging, as many claimed the aesthetic is vital to good design, more so than meaning.
