STUDY TASK 07 - FOLDS

origata - fold in fold out

FPO: Pinovo Boulders Brochure - created via http://pinthemall.net:
With a legacy dating back to over 60 years ago, Bynd Artisan was established by Singapore’s oldest bookbinder to celebrate the work and joy of master craftsmen. The retail concept is a tribute to the enduring excellence of a small band of homegrown craftsmen schooled in the traditional ways of bookbinding and leather crafting. www.andlarry.com/...

I looked into various folding techniques and some were very intricately done, I do not have much knowledge in this part of my course however I am looking to just experiment with a random idea, a quirky idea. I like the above examples however I want to create something different, so I will look into origami.

These are quite over the top but just to put my point across of experimenting with new ideas and new ways of working.

origami ninja stars for ninjago party - I like the idea...a little worried about someone getting hurt. Will have to do right BEFORE they leave!
I decided to create a ninja star origami purely for an easily accessible leaflet. As it is easy to fold back up and still show the content in good form.

This is my ninja star prototype, I like how it came out and will produce a larger version for studio brief 01.
