User experience (abbreviated as UX) is how a person feels when interfacing with a system. The system could be a website, a web application or desktop software and, in modern contexts, is generally denoted by some form of human-computer interaction (HCI).

What is User Experience?

Those who work on UX (called UX designers) study and evaluate how users feel about a system, looking at such things as ease of use, perception of the value of the system, utility, efficiency in performing tasks and so forth.

The UI interface is often talked about in conjunction with  (UX), which may include the aesthetic appearance of the device, response time and the content that is presented to the user within the context of the user interface. An increasing focus on creating an optimised user experience has led some to carve out careers as UI and UX experts. Certain languages, such as and  have been geared toward making it easier to create a strong user interface and experience.

A user interface, also called a "UI" or simply an "interface," is the means in which a person controls a software or hardware device. A good user interface provides a "user-friendly" experience, allowing the user to interact with the software or hardware in a natural and intuitive way.
