EVALUATION OUR HOUSE LOGO

EVALUATION

As a process this brief became slightly frustrating. I was not intending to do 73 logos before deciding. But a brief like this required perfection, as it is something I am truely passionate about and look to take further after university. As I delve more into the entreprenurial side of design.  

This is why the brand design is important as it helps build faith in products or services of the company. When consumers have a good experience with your company, the logo itself becomes a badge. After that, it starts reflecting the consumers expectations.

Our House will make efforts to make customers have some specific perception about its brand. This, in turn, will help the logo to become a symbol of trust.

Overall I believe I have created a logo that successfully reflects the brands values and intended motives. It stands out from competitors easily as it is quite recognisable as the design is so bold. The logo can also be used in a variety of ways. So you can use it in colour, black and white and in different sizes. 


Throughout the process I have based my progress on informed design decisions. Seeking constant feedback on ideas from a large sample of people. The market is understood, the colour scheme is based on reason and purpose, the anatomy of the typeface chosen reflects the brands motives. 

Timing has been a bit of an issue with this brief, I gave myself a set time of max 2 weeks production, however it took me 3 due to not finding a satisfying solution. This will add pressure and constraints to the remainder of the project.

As a brief I still have enjoyed the process as there is a greater connection to it. Normally when a brief is finished it is complete. But after finishing this there is a sense of growth and beginning. This logo was designed with genuine passion as I am so enthralled in this entire process, and wish to build Our House further.
