These design concepts were not used in the final design but it was an enjoyable process creating them. The concept is based on building type through shape. The effect was meant to imitate the way housing is built, but in a typographic manner. The blocks used were meant to convey the same way bricks are used to build houses.
I did not proceed with this design, although I still find it’s style different. It’s design is quite similar to chinese typography and printing stye.I might try to experiment with building a typeface A-Z in this style.
